What if:
You could be visually and audibly reminded to check your gear position before landing?
You could be visually and audibly reminded to check your gear position before landing?
Well we asked that same question and "LANDING BUDDY" (tm) is what we came up with.
- set a switch in the rear of the unit and it will trigger the flashing "GEAR!" annunciation when you get to the target speed you set.
- Trigger settings for 60,70,80,90,100 or 110 knots
- Then place the LANDING BUDDY(tm) on your glare shield and add powering it up to your takeoff checklist
- After departure it is automatically armed once you go above the target speed.
- Once you check the gear indicators just press the reset button and the flashing red annuncuators will turn solid green.
- It that easy.
